Swatched It! MAC – Lipstick Snob

Hello!!! Take a look at this punchy, pink, powerful lipstick the name is… LIPSTICK SNOB!!

You may have heard about Lipstick Snob recently as it’s featured in MAC’s collaboration with JT. She is a talented musician and I LOVE her music. She also has has a great sense of fashion and isn’t afraid to take on bold looks. She’s fearless and experiments with her looks, despite people who don’t get her vision. The collaboration presents her go-to products for her signature lip combo. The Lip Pencil, M·A·Cximal Silky Matte Lipstick and Lipglass Clear. The star of the show is this shade we are swatching today.

On my skin tone the shade looks vibrant and really pops! I feel like it tends to clash a bit since I have a more muted complexion. I loveee it though, I think it’s perfect for spring and summer. I would wear this if I have an outfit with noticeably pink accents. When I’m wearing a lip color as eye-catching as this. It truly becomes an accessory and a part of the outfit.

If you pick this shade up don’t forget to also wear this with attitude because trust me there will be people who will ask about it. Some for better… some for worse… Whatever though it’s definitely not my problem!

I’m throwing in this extra collage of swatches on my hand in different lighting because it just looks noticeably different in each photo. Color theory is so crazy to me, of course lighting matters. You can see how in one moment it can look very muted but in another photo it looks way deeper. Something to think about!

This is a matte formula that really delivers in pigment but can feel a bit “cakey” on my dry skin. So I make sure to moisturize or exfoliate and top with a gloss or clear balm so it’s more comfortable!
